Rapid IT are delighted to finally announce that we have been acquired by SAS Tech Services, an end-to-end IT lifecycle services provider based in Northampton.

Operating since 2000, SAS Tech Services cover everything from specialist IT logistics and secure IT asset disposal to field engineering services, supported by an articulated fleet of 40+ vehicles. They hold security, compliance, and efficiency in just as high regard as we do, and we’re excited to partner with such a well-established IT lifecycle company.

With 85 members of staff, including secure GPS-tracked drivers, experienced engineers, and operations teams, our business has expanded significantly, with plenty of benefits to both us and you.

Lee Spendlove, Managing Director of SAS Tech, would like to extend his warm welcome to you:

“Rapid IT has built an outstanding reputation for reliability, security, and care — values that align perfectly with who we are at SAS Tech Services. We’re eager to bring additional resources and capacity to support Rapid IT’s growth, while ensuring customers continue to receive the same high standards they trust. We look forward to strengthening our partnership with you as we start this new chapter together.”

What does this mean for me?

It’s very much business as usual for us, with the same team, service and standards you know and trust. We’re continuing to deliver the same reliable, secure and compliant IT lifecycle services, with no change to how we support our customers day to day.

Whether you’re new to us or have worked with us for years, you can continue to come to us directly, with the same level of care, expertise and support you’d expect.

What does this mean for Rapid IT?

What this does mean is that we now have more resources behind us. Whether it’s larger projects, tighter timeframes or more complex requirements, we’re in an even stronger position to deliver without compromising on quality.

Rapid IT now operates from our Northern HQ in Padiham, our Southern base in Northampton, and our EU facility in Rijen, The Netherlands. For projects across multiple sites or even borders, we’ve got the infrastructure in place to deliver seamlessly.

Here’s to new beginnings, from the Rapid IT team 🤝
