Our Charity Work
Here at Rapid IT we pride ourselves on the work we do with the community. In July 2018 we won the E3 Business Award for Corporate Social Responsibility in recognition of our charity work.
FEW (Furniture for Education Worldwide)
Furniture for Education Worldwide (FEW) is a National Charity and was launched in London at the House of Commons in November 2008. The Charity’s aim is to send all the surplus and redundant furniture from school and office renovations here in the UK to some of the world's poorest schools.
Rapid IT regularly work with FEW to donate PCs and surplus furniture to schools that are less fortunate.
Burnley FC in the Community
Burnley FC in the Community (registered charity number 1155856) are the official charity of Burnley FC, delivering sport, health, education, inclusion and community facility projects for the benefit of the neediest people in East Lancashire.
With a mission to inspire, support and deliver change in communities, the charity looks to engage with businesses through their Corporate Social Responsibility strategy to deliver it’s mission.
RapidIT/LCWS have been members of the Friends Of Burnley FC in the Community programme since March 2017. We regularly take part in computer donations and fundraising activities to support this charity.
